Building Tents and Making S’mores

I was a little nervous about going camping because I didn’t know what to expect, but I should’ve known that I would love nature.

We left Friday night and got back Sunday night. I had the smell of smoke from the grill still in my hair but for some reason I liked it. Our camp site was set up so nicely with a tent for the girls and the other for the boys. We set up all the chairs around a camp fire both nights and just talked, laughed, counted the stars and enjoys the silence and tranquility – even though we are all Dominican so there wasn’t much silence. On Sunday morning we went to mass at a near by town with a cute little chapel.

The one thing I regret is not taking a walk by myself just to spend sometime on my own with my thought and maybe even pray. No worries though because I will definitely be camping again.
